Sterility at VOC

We have gone to great lengths to afford our patients the most aseptic environment possible for best results.

We have taken the following measures:

• The operating room ventilation system is equipped with High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters that removes 99.97% of all airborne particles that are 0.3 microns in size or larger.
• The ventilation system maintains a higher air pressure in the OR’s than the pressure in the hallway leading to the ORs and the air pressure in that hallway is also set at a higher pressure than the air pressure in the rest of the building, to further protect the OR’s from cross contamination.
• In the OR’s, VOC utilizes Indigo-Clean, a patented continuous environmental disinfection technology, using a combination of 405mm Indigo and white LEDs to safely, automatically and continuously kill harmful bacteria, 24/7, in the air and on hard and soft surfaces. Indigo-Clean bolsters current infection prevention methods and is proven to kill a wide range of harmful bacteria.
